OREANDA-NEWS. The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the ChemRar group of companies delivered the first batch of the drug against the Avifavir coronavirus to Russian hospitals.

This was reported in the press release of the fund. The first drug received clinics and authorized pharmaceutical organizations in Moscow, Leningrad, Novgorod, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod regions, the Republic of Tatarstan and Yekaterinburg.

In June, 60 thousand Avifavira courses will be delivered to Russian hospitals; if necessary, production can be increased to 2 million courses per year. According to the head of the RDIF, Kirill Dmitriev, the drug will be free for Russians under the compulsory health insurance (MHI) program.
