OREANDA-NEWS. Officers of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia detained a man who was preparing a terrorist attack against “representatives of the judiciary” in the city of Stavropol.

This was reported in the press service of the regional department of the agency. “A 23-year-old man was detained today. […] He planned to commit a terrorist attack against representatives of the judiciary in Stavropol,” FSB representative told TASS news agency.

The press service of the FSB department clarified that the criminal is a member of the terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant which is banned in the Russian Federation. It is known that the man planned to commit a terrorist attack alone. He intended to do it near the prosecutor’s office and the Palace of Justice. The offender rented an apartment in Stavropol, in which he was going to assemble several explosive devices.
