OREANDA-NEWS. The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia reported that one more Internet service, which had been sending multiple false messages about mining to hospitals, schools and courts in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and other cities, was discovered.

“Since January 24, the Protonmail.com mail service (Switzerland) was used by anonymous users to continue criminal activity. Similar messages with mining threats were sent to the courts’ email addresses in four Russian regions. The texts also indicated allegedly mined 830 objects of social and transport infrastructure,” the FSB statement says.

It is noted that Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media and the Prosecutor General’s Office “since January 29 have been restricting access to Protonmail.com in Russia.”

Earlier it was reported that Startmail.com located in the Netherlands was involved in similar activities.
