OREANDA-NEWS The lack of practical training in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has led to the emergence of a generation of "paper army". This was announced by the former First deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) Sergey Krivonos.

According to the general, currently the assessment of the combat capability of the army has passed exclusively into paper form. Since the mid-1990s, during the service, the units began to be evaluated in order in the bedrooms, bedside tables and the presence of notebooks. This was due to the lack of funding for the armed forces, Krivonos noted. In this regard, the number of vehicles and people brought out for maneuvers was reduced.

"To show their importance, they began to evaluate people by the number of papers needed or not needed. A generation of commanders has grown up, whom I call those who grew up on the curb, bedside table, bed and paper. This led to what is called, in my understanding, a "mouse fuss", which led to the fact that the leaders began to degenerate as warriors, they became staff rats, who were engaged in this," the general stated.

Thus, a generation of "Power Point Rangers" has grown up in the APU. These soldiers learned only by making presentations and slides, instead of practicing tactics, Krivonos said.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian military with the help of a drone blew up their own positions in the Donbass, writes "Argumenti.ru".
