OREANDA-NEWS The building of a chemical plant caught fire in Balashikha near Moscow, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergencies said on Monday.
The fire occurred on an area of 100 square meters at 17 Zvezdnaya Street. Fire brigades have already arrived to extinguish the fire, there is no threat of the transition of fire to nearby buildings.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that the fire occurred in the workshop for the production of silicon resins. A laboratory was sent to the fire site to measure the level of maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances.
