OREANDA-NEWS. The two men are under investigation on charges of planning an attack with explosives and chemicals to “prevent the Islamization of Poland” and to “exterminate” Muslims. This was reported by the agency First News.

The attack was supposed to have been carried out on a specific religious site of the Islamic community, presumably a mosque, Stanislaw Zaryn, a press officer for minister coordinator of special services, said. Both suspects have been charged by the National Prosecutor’s Office in Szczecin. Their detention was carried out after an investigation conducted by the Polish Internal Security Agency.

“The accused also planned to use poisonous substances against certain people,” Zaryn added. “The accused expressed extreme right-wing views, and one of them said there was a need to exterminate certain religious groups, and called for violence and acts of crime,” the official informed.
