The politician reminded that from July 1, all regions of the country are allowed to establish a special tax regime for self-employed citizens. In this regard, he considers it necessary to expand the list of support measures for this category of Russians. "This also applies to the possibility of lending, additional professional training. It is necessary to create conditions for expanding the client base, including through digital platforms, which are now actively growing," the press service of the party quotes Turchak.

The self-employment regime has already allowed 750 thousand Russians to openly conduct their professional activities in comfortable conditions, Andrey Turchak said. He added that even during the coronavirus epidemic in the country, the authorities did not leave this category of citizens.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a six-month postponement of small and medium-sized businesses to pay insurance premiums due to the situation with the coronavirus and the economic crisis.
