OREANDA-NEWS A petition to protect animals affected by forest fires in Siberia is gaining popularity on the Internet. It was posted on change.org. More than 100 thousand people signed the document.

The author of the petition, Ekaterina Arbuzova, wrote that a lot of animals and birds died due to fires. And those who survived are scared and need help. Some are injured, and most are simply hungry. In particular, the author proposes to create feeding points for animals in the forests and establish feeders. This, firstly, will support animals in a difficult period, and secondly, it will help return animals to the forest.

In addition, according to Catherine, it is necessary to prohibit hunting for territories affected by fire for several years. This should affect the increase in animal populations.

This petition is addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as to the heads of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Rosprirodnadzor and the Minister of Natural Resources of Russia.
