OREANDA-NEWS. After the ban on 59 Chinese mobile applications, including video-sharing service TikTok, India decided to block 118 more resources, including social network WeChat, browser UC, game Clash of Kings, and mini-blogging service Weibo. This decision was made by the country’s authorities after the death of 20 Indian soldiers on the border with China.

On August 31, the Indian Ministry of Defense reported of a new clash with Chinese troops in the border region Ladakh, which, according to the agency, occurred on the night of August 30 on the shores of Pangong Lake. According to Delhi, Indian troops took measures to strengthen their positions and did not allow China to “unilaterally change the state of affairs.” 20 Indian servicemen were killed in the clash.

A new round of exacerbation between China and India over the territories in Ladakh began in June. The Chinese units opened fire on the Indian military, claiming that they illegally crossed the state border. Then 3 people were killed; 17 died from wounds later. The Chinese side blamed India for the incident.
