OREANDA-NEWS. Iranian Supreme Court Chief Justice, Ebrahim Raisi, ordered to form a special working group to investigate the murder of nuclear physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh. This was reported on November 30 by the Young Journalists Club.

“The Prosecutor-General, in cooperation with the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the Judicial Organization under the Armed Forces, intelligence and security services, will form a special team to prosecute the perpetrators and organizers of the murder," the agency quotes Raisi.

On November 27, it was reported of the assassination attempt on Fakhrizadeh, who headed a research center under the Iranian Defense Ministry, near the city of Damavand. Later, the Ministry informed that the scientist was wounded and died in the hospital.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif claimed that Israel’s trail can be seen in the murder of Fakhrizadeh.
