This was announced during a speech at the 24th meeting of RAPP on Thursday, RAPP Executive Director Derek Norberg. “We are considering several cities for the next RAPP. This will be the 25th anniversary of our forum, the jubilee meeting. Consider Seattle, where the first meeting of RAPP was held, the city of Portland, possibly San Diego, where we also held a fairly successful meeting”, Norberg.

Later, in an interview with journalists, he noted that he was surprised by rumors circulated in the media about the termination of RAPP. "It was hard enough in 2014, in 2015, and now it is hard. But against the background of our complex relationships, trends that are not very encouraging, RAPP is beginning to gain strength," said Norberg. On June 26 and 27, the 24th annual meeting of RAPP was held in Khabarovsk. The delegations of Russia and the United States for two days discussed issues of cooperation in the fields of energy, tourism, trade, science and education between the regions of the Russian Far East and the west coast of the United States.

The Russian-American Pacific Partnership (RAPP) is a bilateral forum between the private and public sectors to establish cooperation and overcome obstacles to business and commercial development between Eastern Russia and the United States, to expand opportunities between Eastern Russia and the Western United States through volunteer partnership activities - RAPP enthusiasts, representatives of the private and public sectors, through support and cooperation in the development of RAPP initiatives. 

Earlier, Derek Norberg also spoke positively, in 2015 he said that the meeting, which took place last fall in California, many of its participants called the most positive Russian-American event of 2014.
