OREANDA-NEWS. The condition of 18 children and three adults injured in the shooting at a Kazan school on Tuesday did not change by Wednesday morning. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the head of the press service of the President of Tatarstan Lilia Galimova. She said: "The condition of the victims is unchanged."

Earlier, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko told reporters that after the tragedy, 18 children are in the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital of Tatarstan, six of them are in serious condition, two are in extremely serious. Eight children, according to his information, received gunshot wounds, the rest were injured as a result of injury by glass fragments or during evacuation from the building. In addition, there are three adult victims of the shooting in two Kazan hospitals.

In total, according to local authorities, 23 people are in Tatarstan hospitals after the shooting at a school in Kazan on Wednesday morning: 20 children and 3 adults.

According to Murashko, 39 people arrived in Kazan from Moscow to work with the victims, including specialists from federal clinics: anesthesiologists, resuscitators, surgeons, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, as well as Centrospas specialists and psychologists.

On Tuesday, May 11, after shooting at gymnasium No. 175 in Kazan, according to the Tatarstan authorities, seven children, a teacher and a woman-school assistant, were killed, and another 21 people were injured. Minnikhanov said that a 19-year-old teenager had arranged the shooting, and the weapon was officially registered for him. Investigative Committee launched a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of two or more persons). Wednesday is declared a day of mourning in Tatarstan.
