OREANDA-NEWSThe company "McDonalds" responded to the data Roskachestvo on the content of small doses of antibiotics in the company's burgers. The fast-food chain insists that the reviewing organization committed violations during its research.

“We have carefully studied the Russian quality documents obtained from an autonomous non-profit organization, from which it follows that various violations were committed during storage and research, ”GOST R 51447-99 and GOST R 54904-2012”, said McDonald's, which arrived in the Russian media. Violations of these GOSTs say "about the low quality of the study" and about the likely receipt of incorrect results by the department, according to the company.

Earlier, the Russian service published a survey of burgers from 11 chain restaurants and found “small doses” of antibiotics in the products of several networks. In particular, the audit showed the presence of ternidazole in the Big Mac cutlets from the McDonald’s network. The same substance was found in the burger “Original” of the Ketch Up network and in the “Classic” burger from BB & Burgers. Enrofloxacin was discovered by the KFC network in “Chefburger”, and ofloxacin was found in “Classic King” of the MEATOROOB network.

The organization emphasized that “the concentration of antibiotics in these burgers was extremely low”, and indicated that it was only possible to determine their presence in cutlet meat using the highly sensitive method. All this, according to the Russian quality, speaks of the high quality of the burgers of these networks. All investigated products, despite the identified shortcomings, don't pose a health hazard, they noted in the organization.

Responding to the service survey, McDonald's also stated that they identified the supplier of beef cutlets that participated in the study and checked the data on the meat consignment.
