OREANDA-NEWS. The first stage of the deal to be concluded between the United States and China this week contains a clause on Beijing’s commitment to purchase 200 billion dollars worth of American goods over two years.

South China Morning Post, citing several sources, reports that the purchased industrial goods should cost 75 billion dollars. In addition, the Chinese side will buy energy resources for 50 billion, agricultural products for 40 billion and services for 35–40 billion dollars.

The signing of the agreement is scheduled for January 15. It should be held in the White House with the participation of US President Donald Trump and Vice Premier of China Liu He in the presence of about 200 guests.
