OREANDA-NEWSThe meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia is planned to be held in late November, the agenda includes issues of further integration of the two states. This was announced on Thursday by Secretary of State of the Union State Grigory Rapota, answering a question from the Russian media.

"The date is being determined, I think this will take place in the last decade of November. The topic of the future Union State, in line with the work carried out by the working group under the leadership of the heads of the Ministry of Economy, will probably become the subject of an exchange of views and, possibly, some decisions," Rapota noted.

He added that the Union State Standing Committee is not dedicated to the work of the intergovernmental group to prepare an integration program and roadmaps for its implementation. “No. We are working on our schedule”, the Secretary of State said. He explained that the next meeting of the Union Council of Ministers "according to the rules should be held in the Russian Federation".
