OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Finance of Russia will allocate 246.2 billion rubles for the purchase of foreign currency according to the budget rule from August 7 to September 5. It was reported by the department’s website on August 5. 

“The daily purchase volume of foreign currency will be equivalent to 11.2 billion rubles,” the statement said. 

Note that from July 5 to August 6, the department allocated 231 billion rubles for the purchase of foreign currency. 

Also, from January 15, the Central Bank resumed regular purchases of foreign currency in the domestic market for the Ministry of Finance as part of the budget rule, suspended in August 2018.
