Moscow Airports Received False Reports of "Mining"
OREANDA-NEWS Moscows’ airports Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo confirmed receiving anonymous threats.
Earlier, a media source in the emergency services said that the unknown told the police that the airports of Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky allegedly planted explosive devices.
As reported in the press service of Vnukovo, all the airport facilities are checked by emergency services after a call about mining.
"We confirm the fact of check on the basis of a call about mining. All premises of Vnukovo airport are checked by emergency services together with dog handlers, evacuation is not planned. The airport is operating normally," the press service noted.
In turn, Domodedovo airport also confirmed the receipt of anonymous threats and introduced additional security measures.
The press service of Domodedovo said that "with anonymous threats, standard security procedures are provided." "This case is no exception. After receiving the information, together with the security forces, the necessary additional measures have been introduced to ensure security," the press service stressed.
The press service of Sheremetyevo airport did not comment on this information.
In Zhukovsky messages about the placed explosive device didn't arrive, the airport works in a regular mode, reported in a press-service of the airport.
In Moscow detained the suspect in calls about false mining of three capital airports. "Currently, a citizen may be involved in this call, with a man working police officers", - informed the press service of the Ministry of internal Affairs on transport in the Central Federal district.
