OREANDA-NEWS. North Korea has purchased the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V. This was reported by the Japanese newspaper Asahi on December 15. In addition, according to the publication, North Korea acquired Chinese diagnostic equipment, including thermographs.

The size of the vaccine batch is unknown. It is noted that Sputnik V began to be used in representatives of the Workers’ Party of Korea. There is no information about the vaccination of the leader of the republic, Kim Jong-un, the newspaper specifies.

As for the thermographs, they were installed on the border between China and North Korea in order to gradually resume economic activity between the two countries. Giving this information, Asahi cited sources in South Korean intelligence and Chinese business circles.
