OREANDA-NEWS. Vladimir Putin and President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will chair the Russian-Ukrainian Interstate Commission’s sixth meeting in Moscow on December 17.

On the agenda at the meeting will be priority issues in bilateral trade and economic cooperation, coordinating joint steps on mutually advantageous future projects, especially in energy, transport, the space sector, agriculture, and investment and interregional cooperation. Focus will also be on developing the dialogue in culture, science and education. Cooperation within the CIS and current international issues will also be discussed.

A solid package of bilateral agreements is expected to be signed following the meeting.
