OREANDA-NEWS. Democratic presidential contender and former vice president Joe Biden in an interview with The New York Times criticized Facebook and its founder Mark Zuckerberg for posting fakes on the social network.

According to the politician, Facebook is spreading false information, knowing that it is not true. He pointed out that Internet media have editors, but Facebook has not, and it is “totally irresponsible.”

Biden also mentioned that earlier Zuckerberg was forced to remove from Facebook ads, which was launched by order of the Russian authorities against his presidential campaign.

“I learned three things. Number one, Putin doesn’t want me to be president. Number two, Kim Jong-un thinks I should be beaten to death like a rabid dog and three, this president of the United States is spending millions of dollars to try to keep me from being the nominee. I wonder why,” Biden concluded.
