OREANDA-NEWS. US President Joe Biden said in an interview with ABC News that he considered Russian President Vladimir Putin a "killer."

In an interview with the leading American leader, he said that he "knows" Vladimir Putin, and the Russian president, in turn, "knows" him.

When asked by a journalist to clarify whether Biden considers Putin to be a murderer, the US president replied: "Mmm ... hmm ... I do."

According to State Duma Chairman Viacheslav Volodin, these words of Biden about Putin are "an insult to all Russians." Such a statement, in his opinion, is nothing more than "hysteria from impotence."

In addition, US President Joe Biden said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin would "pay for meddling" in the fall 2020 US elections. Biden also added that during the first telephone conversation he warned his Russian counterpart about the likelihood of such a response from Washington. This was reported by the ABC TV channel.

On the eve of the US intelligence community declassified a new report, in which Moscow was again suspected of trying to prevent Joe Biden's victory and help Donald Trump's re-election, as well as "influence" the mood in American society. It was reported by the "Sputnik" agency.
