This is declared in a statement issued on July 24 by the Foreign Ministry of China. It is clarified that Beijing notified the US Embassy of its decision to revoke the license of the American consulate to establish and operate. The Ministry also demanded that the mission terminate all activities and events. The message emphasizes that on July 21, the USA unilaterally undertook a provocation, sharply demanding from China to close the Consulate General in the city of Houston (Texas State).
