OREANDA-NEWS. The situation in relations with Russia, connected with accusations against Moscow of preparing to assassinate Prague politicians, does not require the expulsion of the Russian ambassador from the Czech Republic. This was stated by Prime Minister Andrej Babis.

“We are a sovereign state and we, naturally, will not allow some major world powers to try to influence our political affairs in any way,” the head of the government said. Babis also noted that he considers it unacceptable for some other state to carry out actions against citizens in the territory of republic. The politician added that the head of the Czech Foreign Ministry, Tomas Petricek, is responsible for current disputes with the Russian side. The Prime Minister informed that a day before, he had a conversation with Petricek on this issue.
