OREANDA-NEWS. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claimed that Ankara “has no problems” with Iran and Russia on the territory of Syria.

“I appeal to Russia and Iran. In Syria, we have no problems with you, we are not aimed at either Russia or Iran. We do not need oil and the lands of Syria. We are fighting for our national security,” the politician said during a speech in Ankara. Erdogan recalled that Turkey has accepted 3.7 million refugees and the country “cannot bear this load.”

Earlier, Turkish President expressed hope for a truce in Syruian governorate of Idlib after negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The meeting of the heads of state will be held in Moscow on March 5.
