OREANDA-NEWS. European Union ambassadors agreed to include two people and four companies in the sanctions list against Russia for the construction of the Crimean Bridge. This was announced by the correspondent of Radio Liberty, Rikard Jozwiak.

“Eu ambassadors have green lighted sanctions against 2 people and 4 companies responsible for the construction of the Kerch bridge,” Jozwiak wrote. According to him, the sanctions will be officially announced this week.

A source of TASS news agency said that the ambassadors agreed on sanctions against people and companies which took part in the construction of the Crimean Bridge. An official decision will be made by the EU Council later on the basis of a written procedure, journalists’ interlocutor clarified. The agency informs that the written procedure does not provide for discussions, the sanctions will take effect after approval by the EU Council and publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
