The head of the European Commission stressed that the European Union has “the largest single market in the world.” “We are open for business but we are attached to reciprocity, level playing field & values,” the politician resumed.

Earlier on December 30, it became known that the leaders of the EU and China would agree on the basic principles of the document on an investment agreement, negotiations on which have been going on for several years. However, the final approval of the document may take several months.
