OREANDA-NEWS. Great Britain called on Russia to stop sending “uninspected” humanitarian aid convoys to Donbass.

This was stated by the Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom Karen Pierce at a meeting of the United Nations Security Council. According to her, London believes that Moscow should focus on assistance in the safe delivery of international aid based on an agreed international mechanism, provided by the Minsk Agreements.

In addition, the British Permanent Representative noted that the United Kingdom supports the Minsk Agreements and welcomes the obligations of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to end the conflict in the country through diplomatic means, “including prisoner exchanges, acceptance of the Steinmeier formula and progress on disengagement”.
