OREANDA-NEWS. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, hospitalized with coronavirus infection, is still in an intensive care. However, the treatment yields results, and the politician’s condition has improved, Downing Street reports.

The television channel Sky News informs that Johnson is in a good mood. On the advice of doctors, he temporarily stopped working remotely.

On April 7, British Secretary of State Dominic Raab, replacing Johnson because of his illness, expressed confidence that the head of government would recover soon. “And I’m confident he’ll pull through because if there’s one thing I know about this prime minister, he’s a fighter,” Raab said.

On the same day, representatives of the prime minister said that he was undergoing standard oxygen therapy in intensive care. Artificial ventilation was not required, Johnson breathes without assistance.
