OREANDA-NEWS. Near Minsk, law enforcement officers of Belarus have detained 32 militants of a foreign private military company.

“We do not have any additional information yet,” Sergey Kabakovich, a head of the information and public relations department of the Investigative Committee of Belarus, said.

Last week, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko pointed to the possibility of artificial destabilization of the situation in the country by external forces. According to the politician, “there are not enough maidanned patients [Maidan is a symbol of Ukrainian political movements. – Ed.]” in Belarus, but they are pulled up from the outside when necessary. “These are professional military men, bandits who were specially trained, mainly within the framework of private military companies around the world, and they earn big money conducting provocations in this or that country,” Lukashenko explained.
