OREANDA-NEWS State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov called for citizens to be sent for correctional work who appear in public places with obscene inscriptions on clothes. Including it should concern words on T-shirts that are similar in sound or writing to profanity, said the parliamentarian.

Milonov noted that such a thing can be punished with a “broom in hand” or arrest for 15 days.

According to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, the use of obscene language in public places can be qualified as disorderly conduct that results in a fine in the amount of 500 to 1 thousand rubles or arrest for up to 15 days.
