OREANDA-NEWS. Iranian judicial authorities demand the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) to put US President Donald Trump on the international list of wanted for the assassination of General Qasem Soleimani.

This was announced on June 29 by Tehran’s Prosecutor General, Ali Alqasi-Mehr. “36 representatives of the United States were identified, including Donald Trump, as well as of other countries, that participated in the assassination of Qasem Soleimani,” Iranian official said. The Prosecutor added that the judicial authorities “issued an order to hold them accountable and declare red status through Interpol.” According to Alqasi-Mehr, “the people mentioned are accused of murder and terrorist activities.”

The United States conducted an operation to destroy Soleimani on January 3 near Baghdad Airport in Iraq. In response, Iran attacked on the Iraqi military base, where American troops were deployed.
