OREANDA-NEWS. The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass, Leonid Kravchuk, said that he would allow the transfer of the hosting city for negotiations on a settlement from Belarus to Sweden if the opportunity to conduct a dialogue in Minsk is lost due to protests.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the talks on Donbass would not stop, despite the unrest in Belarus, and the next meeting will be held in Minsk on August 18.

“Belarus does not take part in the Trilateral Group. If there is no such opportunity to hold meetings there, then we will look for another place. At first, the agreements were not of Minsk. First they were of Geneva. We can choose a completely neutral state, for example Sweden. We can ask them. It is possible,” Kravchuk said in an interview with Ukrainian Radio.
