OREANDA-NEWS. The first president of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk during an interview with former Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko said that nowadays the country is divided into three parts, and each has its own interests.

According to the politician, Ukraine is a “country of different interests.” He said that there are “three small Ukraines” which are represented by the western, southeast and central parts having “different historical roots, different mentality, different historical memory.”

Savchenko argued with him, indicating that Ukrainians still have the same “DNA of blood”. Kravchuk did not agree with her, saying that under certain conditions, residents of different parts of the country differ greatly. As an example, he mentioned the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, who come to parliament, argue, and the contradictions between them become obvious.
