OREANDA-NEWS. British media’s information on the state of health of President Vladimir Putin and his plans to resign is nonsense, Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the head of state, claimed. “No. His health is excellent,” TASS news agency quotes him.

On November 6, the British tabloid Daily Mail published an article claiming that Putin would step down in January due to health problems. The newspaper referred to the words of political scientist Valery Solovey and reported on the assumptions of unnamed analysts.

In spring of the current year, Peskov told reporters about the “excellent” health of the 68-year-old President of the Russian Federation. “It is excellent. You can see this from the work schedule. Although all contacts are carried out in the mode of video conferencing, sometimes there are more events than usually. And, naturally, we have to work more intensively,” the presidential press secretary said.
