OREANDA-NEWS. Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation, warned about large number of fake news related to voting on amendments to the country’s Constitution in media. “It goes beyond the limit”, the politician said. According to Peskov, the Kremlin administration does not consider media reports as “first instance truth.”

Earlier, journalists mentioned that in some places voting takes place on benches in yards. “Even so, all voting formats that are available to citizens are known to the Central Election Commission,” Peskov said. He also commented on reports of cases of coercion to vote. According to journalists, some budget organizations force their employees to vote. Peskov recalled the words of President Vladimir Putin, who said that the main thing in the vote is its legitimacy.

Peskov emphasized that the Kremlin “is not ready to take anonymized information”, but the authorities are ready to transfer concrete information about violations to the Election Commission.
