OREANDA-NEWS. Russian President’s Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin administration disagrees with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who accused Moscow and Damascus of intentional violating peace agreements on the territory of the Syrian governorate of Idlib.

Responding to questions from journalists, Peskov said that “Russia is fully fulfilling all obligations under the Sochi agreements.” “We regret to say that the situation leaves much to be desired. The area remains to be a territory of concentration of terrorists who carry out offensive operations against the armed forces of the Syrian Arab Republic and the Russian base in Khmeimim,” the Kremlin representative stated. “This gives rise to our deepest concern,” he concluded.
