OREANDA-NEWSPresident of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the leadership of the Russian Federation hinted at joining in exchange for uniform energy prices. His words were quoted by a Belarusian news agency on Friday.

He added that Moscow and Minsk do not discuss the creation of supranational bodies as part of the integration of the Union State, but work on road maps will continue.

"We will continue to work on integration. There is nothing wrong with that", he said at a meeting with the staff of the Svetlogorsk Pulp and Paper Mill. According to him, the parties agreed not to discuss the creation of supranational bodies and other associations, which was provided for by the 31st roadmap. “We are discussing purely economic issues of integration”, Lukashenko explained.

Also, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Belarus will continue to purchase oil from other countries, even if it is more expensive than Russian. He said this on Friday during a trip to Svetlogorsk.
