OREANDA-NEWS. The Presidential Administration of the United States of America announced his intention to impose anti-Turkish sanctions against its will. This is stated in the material of The Wall Street Journal published on December 25.

The restrictions are associated with the acquisition of Russian anti-aircraft missile systems S-400.

The article says that, according to US officials, Donald Trump’s administration is trying to appease Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan amid fears that treating him as an outcast will lead Turkey to Russia’s orbit.

The interlocutor of American journalists notes that the presidential administration does not want anti-Turkish sanctions, adding that despite of it, the restrictions against Ankara will be imposed and will damage the country.
