OREANDA-NEWS Almost half of the residents of Ukraine are ready to vote for the resignation of the current president and the organization of early elections. More than half of the population also supports the dissolution and re-election of the Verkhovna Rada, according to a survey conducted by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).

According to the results of the study, 47.2% of residents support the option of resignation of the current leader of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the organization of new elections, 46.5% are against it. According to analysts, in November 2021, only 43.9% supported the idea of re-election of the head of state, while 52.2% of the country's citizens opposed it.

At the same time, 53.6% of the country's residents expressed a desire to dismiss deputies ahead of schedule and hold new parliamentary elections. 38.9% of Ukrainians are not ready to support this proposal. If we turn to the data of past opinion polls, then three months earlier these indicators were at the level of 48.8% and 43.4%, respectively.

In total, 1205 respondents over the age of 18 from all regions of the country, with the exception of the territories of Donbass not controlled by the government, were able to voice their opinion in the survey. The study was conducted on January 21-22. Its margin of error, according to sociologists, does not exceed 3.2%.
