OREANDA-NEWS. Russian opposition politician Aleksey Navalny was discharged from the Berlin clinic Charite, where he received treatment after poisoning.

This was reported on the website of the medical institution. “Aleksey Navalny, who has been treated at the Charite since August 22, has been discharged from the hospital,” the message says. The clinic noted that the patient’s health had improved to such an extent that emergency treatment could be stopped. “The attending physicians basing on the previous course and the current condition of the patient consider a complete recovery possible,” Charite informed. The German doctors reported that Navalny was in the clinic for 32 days, 24 of which he spent in intensive care. Any long-term consequences of severe poisoning can be judged later.

It is known that the clinic published a message in agreement with Navalny and his wife Yulia.

Navalny was in a coma from August 20 to September 7. He felt bad on the airplane during the flight from Tomsk to Moscow. At first he was hospitalized in Omsk, after which he was transported to Berlin. Western countries claim that the oppositionist was poisoned with a substance from the Novichok group. The Russian side denies the version of the poisoning.
