OREANDA-NEWS. Seventeen opposition parties of Armenia are planning to hold a rally in Yerevan on Wednesday in connection with the signed statement on ending the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced in a joint statement posted on the website of the party Armenian Revolutionary Federation.

The message notes that “yesterday the most shameful page in our history was turned.” “An anti-national agreement has been signed behind the back of a soldier who defends the land and statehood at the front with his blood, and behind our backs. Our unity, prevention of internal strife and provocations are urgently needed now. Tomorrow, on November 11 at 13.00, we will convene a meeting on Freedom Square, where we will tell about the current situation,” the statement reads.

Earlier, the heads of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed on a ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to the adopted document, Russian peacekeepers will be deployed in the conflict zone.
