OREANDA-NEWS In Moscow, the organizers of the rally “Let us regain the right to vote - 3” intend to hold a new rally on August 17, a corresponding application has already been received in the capital’s city hall. 

The head of the Yakimanka municipal district Andrey Morev told that the application was submitted on August 10. No comments have yet been received from the Moscow City Hall on this score. In addition to Morev, the applicants include municipal deputies Ilya Azar and Elena Filina. 

On the same day, it is planned to hold a “March of Sisters” in the capital, the event is aimed at supporting the Khachaturian sisters accused of the murderer of their father. Morev is sure that there should not be any disagreement between the participants in the processions. 

Also on August 17, the Communist Party together with the left forces planned a rally "For fair and clean elections." Representatives of the party said they did not intend to unite in this rally with independent candidates to the Moscow City Duma. The city authorities agreed on this action. 

Last Saturday, August 10, a coordinated rally was held in the capital on Academician Sakharov Avenue in support of independent candidates for deputies of the Moscow City Duma. According to various sources, at the peak of the action, about 20 thousand people took part in it.
