OREANDA-NEWS. Kyrgyz parliamentarians have approved Sadyr Japarov as Prime Minister of the country. According to the portal 24.kg, 83 deputies, everyone who was present in the meeting room, voted for his candidacy. In total, there are 120 elected representatives in the parliament of Kyrgyzstan.

President Sooronbay Jeenbekov has already signed a decree appointing Japarov as head of the cabinet and approved the composition of the government.

Earlier, the Kyrgyz parliament has already approved a new composition of the government with Japarov as its head. This happened on October 6. However, then Jeenbekov returned to parliament the decree on the approval of the composition and structure of the government, recognizing it as illegitimate. The President pointed out that mandatory procedures were violated during the voting. Firstly, there was no quorum, and secondly, taking into account the fact that there are 120 seats in the Supreme Council, therefore for appointment it is necessary to get votes of at least 61 deputies.
