OREANDA-NEWS. Yerevan expresses gratitude to Moscow for the assistance provided in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. This was stated on December 4 by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a video conference of the intergovernmental council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

“We are grateful for the invaluable assistance that the Russian Federation has rendered to us in the fight against the pandemic and in overcoming all the difficulties that our people have faced over the past year,” the head of the Armenian government said.

He also called for the formation of common oil and gas markets in the EAEU. “Our opinion is that there is the need to implement a coordinated energy policy, the formation of common markets for oil, petroleum products and gas, as well as a common electricity market,” Pashinyan said.
