OREANDA-NEWS. The Polish Embassy in Moscow “unequivocally rejects the information appearing in the Russian media and comments of Russian politicians that the authorities of the Republic of Poland did not agree to allow the flight of Russian military aircrafts through Polish airspace.” This is stated in the message of the diplomatic mission.

“The Russian side did not appeal to the Polish side with a request to obtain consent for the flight of Russian military aircrafts over Polish territory. Therefore, all the information appearing in the Russian media that allegedly the Polish authorities tried to impede the delivery of Russian humanitarian aid to Italy should be considered misinformation,” the statement adds.

Earlier, a number of Russian media drew attention to the supposedly strange route of airplanes providing Italy with medical assistance. Some journalists suggested that Warsaw closed its skies for Russian aviation.
