OREANDA-NEWS. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will be forced to leave the country in case of failure in the transaction on the issuance of a loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Such an assumption was made by the Kiev political scientist Mikhailo Pogrebinsky on the air of NewsOne television channel.

“Today, two-thirds of the revenue of the budget of Ukraine are borrowing. So without an IMF loan, it will be impossible to pay pensions and salaries to citizens… and President Zelensky will need to look for an airplane and urgently flee the country,” the expert said.

Pogrebinsky also noted that if the Ukrainian authorities decide to issue money, then in one and a half to two months US dollar will cost around 300 hryvnas (now dollar is is worth 27.2 hryvnas).
