It is known that the parties agreed on the need to exchange experience in the fight against coronavirus epidemic. “The officials of the two countries should make efforts to conduct bilateral trade in compliance with regulations in the sphere of public health,” Rouhani said. Putin pointed out the importance of overcoming the current difficult situation, reaffirming the disposition to develop bilateral relations of Russia and Iran.

Earlier on April 21, it became known that Putin had telephone conversations with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The politicians expressed their readiness to increase cooperation in the fight against the spread of infection, including contacts through the ministries of health and other state agencies.
