OREANDA-NEWS. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the sanctions against the Republic of Crimea pose problems, but these difficulties are surmountable.

“Unfortunately, certain obstacles and impediments are being created for us there in various ways, certain restrictions, sanctions and so on are introduced. But this is all a matter of technique, and if we have a desire, we will overcome any difficulties,” the politician said at a meeting with graduates of the personnel reserve of managers of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

In the middle of June, the Council of the European Union approved a decision to extend sanctions against Russia over Crimea for a year.

In response, Georgy Muradov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of Russia, noted that the extension of these restrictions is nothing but stupid bustle that the inhabitants of the peninsula do not pay attention to.
