OREANDA-NEWS  Vladimir Putin planned to visit Crimea on the anniversary of the Peninsula's accession to Russia. The trip is already in the schedule of the Head of State.

This year marks five years from the date of accession. The anniversary is celebrated on March 18 — on this day in 2014, the Kremlin signed an agreement on joining Russia's Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.

In the Crimea and Sevastopol celebrations will be held from 15 to 18 March, according to the website of the government of the Republic.
