OREANDA-NEWS. Hundreds of residents of the city of Vladikavkaz (Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Russia) staged an unauthorized rally against quarantine isolation.

Judging by the photos and videos published on social networks, no one is keeping a distance there, only police officers are wearing masks. Manifestants protest against the isolation regime, lack of jobs and insufficient information about the situation with the coronavirus epidemic.

In addition, they demand resignation of the head of the republic, Vyacheslav Bitarov and local government. The Governor went out to the rally participants. “This policy was came up with not by me. There is only one remedy for this disease – to stay at home. If someone proves to me that there is no coronavirus, I will open everything again,” Bitarov said.

Social networks users report that the protesters began to put up tents. Officers of the National Guard and police are drawing up at the place of the illegal rally.
